Andrew Neil

Andrew Neil is a journalist, author and television broadcaster.

He began his career at The Economist, before becoming editor of The Sunday Times in 1983. He was the founding chairman of Sky TV, editor-in-chief and later chairman of Press Holdings group, which included The Scotsman, Sunday Business and The European, and columnist for the Daily Mail.

Neil has had a long television and radio career, presenting programmes such as Despatch Box, Is This Your Life? Which was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Talk Show, as well as Straight Talk with Andrew Neil, The Daily Politics and This Week, with Michael Portillo and Diane Abbott.
